Here's another poem I wrote . We had to look at a picture that we took down to the parkand write a poem about it so I hope you like my poem.

                                                   The View

                   A boat floating on the soft, shimmering sea.

                   The waves washing up to the shore.

                  The trees in the distance were waving willingly through the sky.

                  The seaweed so slippery I might fall

                  All together the view so beautiful.

                  I ask myself do I cry?

                 No not at all.

                 I'm too happy, and at peace with my environment.

 Well It's been 2 days since I joined xanga and I really dont know what to say that's a first but any way I thought I would put one of my poems that I wrote this year in school on my website so people who come to my website will see it

                                                                   The Game

                                             The redsox and yankees played a game

                                             to see who would go to the hall of fame

                                                  Derek Jeter hit the home run

                                                       and then it was done

                                                         The Yankees won!

                                                     The bases were loaded 

                                                    and the teams were devoted 

                                                 The Yankees think their so darlin

                                            but now they gotta go play the Marlins

This was based on the playoff game where the Yankees played the redsox.
